Computer Science in Year 3

It was all about Computing in Year 3 this Tuesday as Mrs Lyons from Schools ICT visited to teach us all about Computer Science and Coding.

Year 3 learnt lots of tricky technical words such as algorithm, debugging and sprite as we learnt how to make fish move, make snails race and even create giant or tiny snails at a moment’s notice! Perhaps your child can explain to you what some of these tricky words mean… Mr Eccles thought he’d seen a six pack of sprites in Asda, but apparently that’s a different thing!
