    How to stay safe online!

We all have the internet and everyone loves it! There is a dark side to it. But is there any way to avoid cyber bullying?

    1. Never give out your real name – Do not use it as your user name or Gmail.

Using your real name is dangerous people can use your name in things you didn’t do, also people may track you.

    2. Never give out your password except to a parent or guardian.

Giving your password is an easy thing to slip out your mouth. If someone gets a hold of your password serious damage can be done, they can get your money, your items and all the things you earned.

    3. Never give out your personal information

Giving your personal information is putting you at risk, of people finding out where you live and your phone number. You never know who can come knocking at your door…

    4. Never give out your school or your age

Giving out your age can lead to people to tell everyone your age or can make fun of you for how old you are, giving out your school can lead to people coming at your school and can start bullying you.

    5. Don’t give out your backup accounts usernames and passwords

If you don’t want people to find out about your personal life then don’t give out its username if someone finds it they can leek all the things you wanted private.

Follow these rules and you won’t see a comment or mean post for a LONG time. Also if you want something private then put your account on private to prevent someone from finding it and comment mean things on it. Remember:

If it’s not good for your mother don’t share it with each other!

Top tips on how to stay safe online.

    1. Never arrange to meet anyone that you’ve met on the internet and not in real life.
For example, if you meet someone online and you don’t know them in real life and they ask you to meet
Them in the local park, say no: you don’t know who they really are.

    2. Never give away your personal information.
For example, if you gave away your personal information, anyone and everyone could access your account and do anything on your account.

    3. Only post sensible comments and pictures.

    Unite For A Safer Internet!
Most people in countries across the globe have access and use the internet, but not all of us use it correctly. You will be shown how to be responsible for your every action online.
1.Don’t give away your personal information!
This rule is just basic common sense—if you give this away, anyone will know your name, age, school and house.
2.Never meet up with anybody that you don’t know on the internet!
If somebody that is on your social media account asks you to meet up with them, do not go! Even if they claim to be a child, ignore them as they might be lying. If I were you, I would block them from your account.
3.Only post sensible pictures and texts!
If you post a silly comment or video, when you want a responsible job, they might just look back on that one post and give someone else the job.
    4.Block, Tell and DON’T DELETE!
If another person is unkind to you, enough for a criminal offence, tell an adult and inform the police. But don’t delete it or all of the evidence would’ve gone.
    5.Never share your password!
Well, let’s just say that if you give this away then anyone can do anything! I recommend that you keep this to yourself.
In conclusion, be sensible and remember, if your mum wouldn’t like your post, then it won’t be sensible for most!

Five Golden Rules to keep you safe on the internet and Social Media
In the world of the internet, there are many dangers. Here are five Golden Rules that are vital to your E-Safety, vital to your safety in the real world, and your reputation.
    I. 1. Never share personal info online!
Don’t do this because this means people could find out where you go to school, where you live, your account and password to sites and your name, depending on what you share.
II. 2. Don’t give out pictures of you or friends if you are wearing something that might give away something about you.
You shouldn’t do this because it gives away personal information like where you go to school (this does link to Golden Rule No. 1).
III. 3. Don’t let yourself get down because of mean comments and trolling (any form of cyber bullying or exploitation).
Remember, if this should happen to you, you are not unaided. These are just depressed people giving you these comments because they are insecure and have nothing better to do.
IV. 4. Never bully people online or in real life.
If you are feeling at your lowest, and you feel depressed because something happened at home or somewhere else, don’t resort to bullying because of it. Bullying ruins people’s lives.
    V. 5. Help people to stop cyber bullying for good.
If you don’t bully, then why can’t you help people who do to stop?
Remember, E-Safety is the vital key to being safe on the internet. Be a buddy, not a bully, and if you wouldn’t show your mum your comment, don’t post it.

    1) Never ever share your personal information on the internet. Sets say that Jim shares his information to a random person and then he sees him in real life and he’s a grown man. So never share you information.
    2) Always think before you post. Sets say that Jim posts an embarrassing picture on the internet and he regretted it and wanted to take it down but he can’t.
    3) Never ever message people who you don’t know. Sets say that Jim was talking to a boy for a week and said “let’s go to the park on Mitre Street” and when they went Jim relived that he wasn’t who he thought he was.
    4) Never share your password online. Sets say that Jim says his password to a random person online and then that person got in to Jims account and started to humiliate him.
    5) Never show pictures of your friends online. Sets say that Jim shared a photo of him and his friends and then someone saw it who they didn’t know.
